Saturday, September 24th
Troop 107 joined the Overmountain Victory Trail Association in a commemorative river crossing in present day Bluff City. The Overmountain Men made the crossing in 1780 on their way to defeat British Maj, Ferguson at Kings Mountain, South Carolina.
Saturday, Sept 17th
Several of our scouts worked on the BSA Swim Test on Saturday. Many thanks to the YMCA lifeguard that worked with us.
Saturday, August 13th
Here are a few photos from the 24th annual South Holston River and Cleanup on Saturday. We had 18 total participants from the Troop. Our unit collected approx. 30 bags of trash plus several large items.

We were fortunate enough to spot an Eastern Worm Snake (Carphophis amoenus amoenus) at Camp Davy Crockett this year. These are a rare sight since they spend the majority of their time underground.
Tuesday, July 12th
We had an enjoyable Troop hike along the river on Tuesday evening.
Scouts from Troop 107 spent the week at Camp Davy Crockett getting a taste of a variety of adventure and skill-building activities including:
- Rowing / Kayaking
- Swimming / Snorkeling / Fishing
- COPE – Zipline / Rappelling / High Adventure
- Rifle / Shotgun / Archery
- STEM & First Aid
Thanks to the incredible staff at Camp Davy Crockett for making this a fun adventure-filled week.

We spent our troop meeting on the water in a secluded cove on South Holston Lake on Tuesday evening.
Tuesday, July 14th
Thanks to everyone that helped make our Court of Honor such a success. Congratulations to Aaron Wright for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

We saw this Garter snake at our Troop meeting on Tuesday.
