Late Night Fishing Tournament in West Virginia

We had a great time in West Virginia!

15 of us traveled to Princeton, West Virginia for a fun-filled adventure.We packed a lot into this camping trip including:

  • Learned about fish & reptiles at an interactive pet store/zoo
  • Stopped at the Mercer County War Museum
  • Spent some time Geocaching
  • Fished in a late night catfish tournament at Lake Shawnee
  • Took a haunted lake tour around an abandoned amusement park

Camp Davy Crockett (July 10th – 16th)

We had a great time and learned a lot at Camp Davy Crockett this week.

We worked on rank advancements in the “Operation First Class” course and earned several merit badges including:

  • Wood Carving
  • First Aid
  • Space Exploration
  • Swimming
  • Leatherwork

We also brought home several awards, including second place for the “Crockett Challenge”

Crossing Over: Arrow of Light Ceremony

The Arrow of Light is the highest rank in Cub Scouting and the moment that a boy that is 10 and a half years old can crossover from Webelos to Boy Scouts.

Congratulations and welcome to Ben, Grayson, and Ryan for earning their Arrow of Light, the only award from Cub Scouting that can be worn on a Boy Scout uniform and as an adult leader.
